Sontec Repair Policy
Sontec surgical instruments are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Any Sontec instrument that is defective will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Instruments not properly cared for, used for unintended purposes, or beyond their designed capacity will not be covered under this guarantee. Our liability under this guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective merchandise.
Sontec has its own repair department where all fine, mechanically functional instruments can be returned to like-new condition.
Sontec performs a variety of repairs, such as replacing worn TC jaws or sharpening scissors. In addition, we complete a comprehensive evaluation of your instruments to determine if further service is required.
For repair service, please send the following directly to the address below:
• Your instruments, appropriately sterilized, securely wrapped, and placed in a sturdy box.
• A copy of your purchase and/or repair order, or a note explaining the problem.
• Please send more than one instrument for repair to avoid $50.00 minimum.
Sontec Return Policy
The return of new, unused instruments in their original packaging is accepted within 30 days of purchase with an authorized "Return Merchandise Authorization". Please contact Sontec directly by phone or email with your invoice or proof of purchase in order to obtain your RMA slip and instructions. Restocking fee applies and credit will not be issued for shipping charges or handling fees. Proper credit is not guaranteed without an RMA. Custom, Special Order or Modified items are non-returnable.
